A truly timeless sentiment that was not new in the late 16th century (1554-1586) when Sir Philip Sidney was writing short notes for his lady. Engraved in the same scrolling script (that would have pleased a schoolmaster five hundred years ago) we used for the Spenser ring it also features two small symbols of eternity.
