Dürer Pins

Albrecht Dürer was one of the great artists of the Renaissance and perhaps one of the greatest engravers ever. Like many of the engravers of his time, the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries, Dürer also designed jewelry and tableware for his patrons. Dürer's patrons were the minor princes of the north, lesser nobles, and a growing class of prosperous town dwelling merchants. He and his patrons favored realistic depictions of animals and well known religious tales. Inspired by the designs of Albrecht Dürer this is our tribute to the art of the Northern Renaissance.
